About us

Our History

After years of private fundraising activities, covering the Hull area, Doreen's Hull was finally established in 2023 with a view of giving our fundraising a name for itself. Doreen's, meaning 'Delivering our Range of Everyday Essential Needs', has been named after Sue's mum, and Ashleigh's grandma, who inspires us every day.

Sue - Co-Founder

Sue is the rock of our family; she's caring and compassionate and is always thinking of new ways to help as many people in our community. She's spent over 20 years working in the local primary school where she loves spending time helping to nurture young minds.

Ashleigh - Co-Founder

Ashleigh is the one with the crazy, fundraising ideas and the second part of the organising team. She's always trying to get the children of the family involved in the fundraising activities to help carry on the message of Doreen's.
